This Core benefit includes the following coverage:


  1 Chiropractor, Chiropodist, Osteopath, Naturopath, Podiatrist, Registered Massage Therapist, Acupuncturist: $15 max. each visit for up to 20 visits per type of specialist each anniversary year. This benefit is payable only after your Government Health Insurance Plan maximums have been reached, if applicable.

1 Chiropractic X-ray: $35 max. each anniversary year.

1 Psychologist: $75 max. for your first visit and $60 max. each subsequent visit for up to 10 visits every anniversary year.

1 Speech Pathologist/Therapist: $60 max. for your first visit and $40 max. for each subsequent up to 10 visits each anniversary year.

1 Physiotherapist: $250 max. each anniversary year.

1 HomeCare and Nursing, Prosthetic Appliances, Durable Medical Equipment: your annual maximum for each of the 3 categories is listed in the following table:

11 Lifeline® Personal Response Service: lifetime max. of 3 months of service, not including installation fee. This benefit is for people trying to cope with medical problems at home while living independent lives.

1 Accidental Dental: $2,000 max. each anniversary year.

1 Ambulance: unlimited ground transportation to hospital and $4,000 max. for air ambulance transportation each anniversary year. This benefit is only payable after your Provincial Health Insurance Plan maximums have been reached, if applicable.

1 Hearing Aid: $400 max. every 4 benefit years.

1 CA 125 Test - $75 maximum per person, per anniversary year (Quebec only)

1 Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) - $75 maximum per person, per anniversary year (Quebec only)

1 $100,000 lifetime maximum.
